Live music has made its return to the region and The Hop Inn is putting local musicians front and centre

The Hop Inn has built a dedicated local following over the last couple of years. While becoming one of the go-to places for a cheeky hot wing deal or huge takeaway parmigiana for those out Mount Duneed/Armstrong Creek way, The Hop Inn has nestled itself firmly in our hearts for its long history of being a huge supporter of the local live music scene.

With the music industry on the verge of blossoming into a nascent rose after an incredibly trying two years, this local institution is ensuring it happens sooner rather than later for our local musos with an absolutely packed roster of local talent for the upcoming months.

You’ll be able to enjoy live music multiple times a week, with live music scheduled across Friday, Saturday and Sunday inside the glorious watering hole. Performers include all the local favourites, including Sam Hanson, Georgia Rodgers, Jason Hoekstra, Ben Dew, Jeb Costin, John Henderson and Isabella Khalife, among many others.

The wondrous live musos will take to the mic from 6:30pm on Friday and Saturday nights, and from 12:30pm on Sundays. Head to the website to keep up with the latest gig guide.

These musicians definitely haven’t had it easy – no live gigs, festivals or release launches. Ugh, we’re crying too.

So, we sat down with a selected few of our awesome local musicians who regularly perform at The Hop to check in on the music front and find out just why they love performing at this local spot.
