LISTEN OUT FOR: Skyscraper Stan

Thanks for chatting with us today! Can you introduce yourself?

My name is Stan Woodhouse, or Skyscraper Stan to my friends.

You’re currently touring, what can the audience expect from you?

Our live show is theatrical and musically diverse. On this tour I have my core band with me plus the Sharard Sisters on vocals – so it gets massive when we dig in.

Any funny/embarrassing/crazy stories since being on tour?

Many. But they stay on tour.

You overhear two people chatting about your set in the toilet cubicle at the venue you’ve just played, what would they be saying?

After they’ve compared notes on how big my nose is and how skinny my legs are I can imagine they would fall to their knees admonishing the all-knowing-whatever for not having let them know of our existence sooner.

Where can we find your album/see you play?

The album “Last Year’s Tune” is available online and at JB HiFi and some other CD stores. You can also buy it off me at the last couple of shows on this national tour.

If you could share the stage with one other artist, who would it be and why?

Paco De Lucia. I wouldn’t be able to contribute musically but I wouldn’t have to. I’d just brush his hair and bring him tea.

Release: Last Year’s Tune is available online, at JB HiFi and at all good retailers.
