Lime Cordiale, G Flip, Cosmo’s Midnight and more lead Bendigo’s Fresh Produce Festival lineup

The inaugural event will take to Bendigo over two dates in September.

While the beloved Groovin The Moo won’t be taking to regional Victoria this year, it’s alternate festival Fresh Produce just might be our saving grace featuring some of the ripest artists from around the country for its inaugural event.

The key takeaways

  • Fresh Produce has revealed their lineup for the inaugural event
  • Lime Cordiale, G Flip, Cosmo’s Midnight and Mallrat will perform on either Friday or Saturday night around the country
  • Tickets go on sale Thursday 18 February at 9am

Following last week’s announcement from the Cattleyard Promotions revealing the juicy date and venue details of the regional concert, the good news continues with a bounty of Australia’s most talented artists leading the lineup, including G Flip, Cosmo’s Midnight, and Spacey Jane for Friday night performances, and Lime Cordiale, Mallrat and Hooligan Hefs taking on Saturday night duties.

Joining the headliners will be a number of local talent across a wide range of genres take to the single-stage setup, all with a good-time guarantee. In Bendigo, Mia Wray, Yergurl, and Gangz will round out Friday night’s event, while Alice Skye, Vince The Kid and Oetha will truly send it on Saturday.

The new 2021 festival series was established by the team behind Groovin The Moo with the partial funding support of the government’s Restart Investment to Sustain and Expand (RISE) initiative.

Building on Groovin the Moo’s foundations, the new festival will continue to support each of the six regions its sister festival has backed in the past – while also expanding. The areas of Townsville (QLD), Bunbury (WA), Maitland (NSW), Canberra (ACT), Bendigo (VIC) and Wayville (SA) will host events, while the new locations of Toowoomba (QLD) and Glenorchy (TAS) will also be calling Fresh Produce home.

The new festival series will go down on eight weekends in spring, beginning at Townsville’s Murray Sports Complex on Friday, August 13 and Saturday, August 14 and finishing on the first weekend of October at the Adelaide Showgrounds in Wayville. For the Victorians out there, Fresh Produce will make its way to Bendigo’s Prince of Wales Showgrounds from Friday, September 24 to Saturday, September 25 – the penultimate stop on the festival tour.

There will be heaps of local lovin’ still to be announced for each Fresh Produce show, including community programs and your favourite neighbourhood eats and drinks, emulating what we’ve come to know and love from GTM.

Tickets for Fresh Produce go on sale 9AM local time on Thursday 18 February 2021 from Moshtix, with single concert and weekend tickets (which includes both concerts) available. More ticketing information will be available next week on the Fresh Produce website. Set your alarms.
