Life in a Small Town

If you dig songs about gambling, drinking, cheap women, hard times, fast cars that won’t take you anywhere and life in small towns, The Dead City Lights are your perfect companion.
Led by Nathan Seeckts, who has worked predominantly as a solo artist in recent times, the band is inspired by the likes of Springsteen, The Gaslight Anthem and Lucero. Seeckts formed the band in March 2014, bringing on board the talents of Chris Black, Mark McLeod and Nathan Barrett to flesh out his storytelling style of songwriting. They released the two-track EP Ghost Town last year, while this year they’ve been working on their debut 7”. Narana Aboriginal Cultural Centre, Grovedale – November 14.
