Let There Be Rock

After talk of a new album that seemed to go on and on, Dallas Crane served up Scoundrels in November – their first fulllength in nine years. Formed in 1996, the band would rehearse what would become their debut album in a Port Melbourne oil shed.
1998’s Lent caught the ear of triple j’s Richard Kingsmill, who became an early champion of the band. The band lived life on the road for nearly 11 years before taking a breather, reuniting briefly when they were asked to support The Who. The Barwon Club, Geelong – December 26 (Boxing Day Slam); Lorne Hotel, Lorne – December 27; The Loft, Warrnambool – December 28; and The Karova, Ballarat – February 5. They’ll also play the Ballarat Beer Festival on January 16.
