Lee Kernaghan Soon to hit Regional Victoria

The son of a country music singer and truck driver, Lee Kernaghan released his debut solo album, The Outback Club, in 1993.

To this day, its track ‘Boys from the Bush’ is a favourite. He has long been a voice for rural Australia – he would win ‘Australian of the Year’ in 2008 for his work – and with more than 30 Golden Guitars he is a true legend of Australia’s country music scene. In 2015, however, his appeal broadened.

His album, Spirits of the Anzacs, went Platinum within three weeks and would finish the year as the highest selling Australian release. GPAC – May 20; Her Majesty’s Theatre, Ballarat – May 21; and Lighthouse Theatre, Warrnambool May 22.
