If all else fails, you can’t go wrong with a nice bottle of wine.
Whether she is a red or rosé-lover, your favourite lady deserves to be honoured with a drop that will hit the spot, minus the premium price tag! This is where Patrick of Coonawarra comes in with their P-Series, a range that only requires a $20 note per bottle.
We have three particular favourites from this collection.
First, there’s the Rosé – a creamy, texturised wine embodies floral aromas and berry fruit flavours pairing perfectly with Mum’s brunch in bed or afternoon cheese platter.
Next, we’ve got the NV Chardonnay Pinot Noir. This mix is the perfect bubbly if you’re toasting to Mum over Zoom, or are lucky enough to be popping a bottle with her on her special day. Fresh, fruity and stylish, this sparkling is made for any excuse to celebrate.
Lastly, the Shiraz Cabernet. If you’ve ditched the pyjamas for Mother’s Day and feel sophisticated with jeans on, this is the perfect drop for you (and Mum!). Subtle oak flavours sees fruit dominating throughout the palate pairing perfect with that hearty roast lamb on the menu.
Perfect for mums who need a break – after all, it’s better not to keep things bottled up. You can pick these drops up locally from IGA Torquay or Ocean Grove Cellars. Find out more here.
