Lambys New Year's Eve White Night Party

Stop and think about this for a second: it’s two weeks until New Years. That’s 14 days. Or if you’re planning on doing something at home and you work full time, that’s only four days where you can get some serious prep in order. Here at Forte we’re all for house parties, but when it comes to New Year’s Eve, that’s a whole different ball game. For instance, if you were to head to the Lambys White Night party for New Years, all you have to prepare for is a night of fun, a way to get home and a white outfit (which let’s be honest, won’t take you longer than an hour to buy or find from your wardrobe). Really it’s a no brainer.
The decision to head out versus stay home is made even easier with the convenient location of Lambys. As the party kicks off at 8pm, when midnight strikes there’s plenty of time to sneak off to the outdoor area or head to the bay to catch the fireworks in action. Further bonuses come with not having to worry about finding a park, as let’s be honest, we’ve all been that person madly driving around at 11.57pm trying to find a park only to have to watch the fireworks as you wait for the lights to turn green.
What makes the Lambys celebration even better is that Samual James will be guest DJ on the night, helping you bring in your New Year. Having just performed at Stereosonic, he knows a thing or two about bringing a party. He was also support act recently for Porter Robinson and dropped a nice little track called ‘Dynasty’ with JDG, which will surely be making an appearance at the New Year’s event. Prepare for a loud sound, whether you like it or not. Samual has been known for breaking boundaries in this generation’s electronic music scene, and he’ll certainly be bringing that pioneering nature as the clock ticks closer to midnight. He’s joined by a collection of local DJs who will help you party the night away in the upstairs and downstairs of the venue.
Tickets are $10 if purchased before New Years or $15 at the door, so by our count, that leaves plenty of cash for a few drinks, a pit stop at Maccas and a Taxi home at 4am (or perhaps an Uber if you’re into that kind of thing). Tickets can be purchased from Denny’s during business hours or via the website: www.lambys.com.au.
