Whether you walk or run, everyone is welcome this year at the Flying Brick Bellarine Sunset Run.
Renowned as one of the best local runs in the region, the annual Flying Brick Bellarine Sunset Run returns this Saturday, on 11 February 2023, with a 21.8km half marathon, 10.5km and a 4km fun run and walk on coastal trails in the beautiful Portarlington.
Hosted by Flying Brick, the event takes place on the Bellarine Coastal Trail between Portarlington and St Leonard’s and needs to be run (or walked) to be appreciated.

- The courses include the breathtaking scenery that the Bellarine Peninsula is proudly home to and full of local supporters cheering you on along the way.
- Awareness and funds raised from the Bully Buster 4km contributing Bellarine Community Health Youth Services
- There are no cut-offs for participation

Over the past seven years, the Flying Brick Bellarine Sunset Run has found the perfect way to combine some of life’s loves. Many families and friends have ventured to the Bellarine Peninsula to spend a weekend running, eating, drinking, smiling, and laughing with friends and loved ones.
The 2023 distances include the Active Feet Ocean Grove Half Marathon, which is an out-and-back course starting from the Portarlington pier with the main group at 5:20pm. Walkers are welcome to join and there’s an early start option for shufflers.
The Port Phillip Ferries 10km (10.5km) leaves St Leonards pier at 5:20pm, where runners and shufflers will head to the Portarlington finish line. A bus included in the entry fee.
Family owned and a huge contributor to Bellarine Community Health Youth Services, the last option is the Bully Buster 4km at Portarlington. Over the years this run has raised funds exceeding $30,000 in total for the Headspace programmes with the team aiming to raise another $5000 in 2023 for Bellarine Community Health Youth Services. Start time 5:10pm.

The courses include the breathtaking scenery that the Bellarine Peninsula is proudly home to, including a view of Melbourne’s skyline across Port Philip Bay, the You Yangs across Corio Quay and the relaxing landscapes of an area showcasing old fashion town charm, plus there will be an abundance of local supporters cheering you on along the way.
