Four time Grammy Award winners, Kings of Leon, will perform their first regional gig in 10 years.
One of the world’s top rock acts, Kings of Leon, will play a one-off regional gig in Mildura this October, as part of their brand-new Australian 2022 dates.
Originally scheduled for April this year, the rescheduled Aussie tour will see the Tennessee-bred band of brothers (and cousin) hit up Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth, alongside a newly announced regional stop at Mildura Sporting Precinct on Saturday, October 29, backed by the Labour Government.

Kings Of Leon’s last full tour of Australia was in November of 2011, on the back of their fifth record Come Around Sundown. Now following the release of When You See Yourself, their eighth album, the band will return to Australia for the first time in a decade, with Mildura being only regional stop on the band’s first Australian and New Zealand tour in that time.
The concert is expected to attract up to 15,000 fans to Mildura Sporting Precinct and inject millions of dollars into the local economy, made possible through the $20 million Regional Events Fund.
“We invest in bringing the biggest music shows to all parts of Victoria because we know they deliver a big boost to local businesses and support jobs,” says Minister for Tourism, Sport and Major Events Martin Pakula.
“Victoria is Australia’s home of live music and we’re giving music lovers the experiences they crave while supporting the live music industry.”
The four-time Grammy Award winners have headlined the world’s biggest festivals, including Coachella and Lollapalooza, and broke their own attendance record at London’s massive Hyde Park during their last tour.
Famous for smash hits including Sex on Fire and Use Somebody, Kings of Leon will be a huge drawcard for Mildura. Local hotels, restaurants, retail shops and businesses are set to benefit from this major event for the region.
