King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard are back in the studio making their 10th album

King Gizzard are at it again, currently working in their home-made studio on their 10th album – which means the 9th is finished in the studio and on its way to our ears.

This new release follows on from Nonagon Infinity which was released in April this year.

There was news in an interview with triple j that the band will be releasing four studio albums in 2017, which is a mammoth task, but given they’ve churned out eight albums in four years, we’d say it’s highly likely they’ll achieve it.

“We’re actually working on four separate projects at the moment, which hopefully we can release next year sometime” Gizz co-frontman Stu McKenzie revealed.

“Four Gizzard albums, I guess next year, that’s the idea,” clarified drummer Eric Moore.

The band have a few performances coming up, most notably at Gizzfest they put on, which is scheduled for the Coburg Velodrome in Melbourne on November 26. Tickets are available from the website.
