Audiences across Australia will be greeting Kim Churchill with "it's lovely to have you here" as the singer-songwriter travels far and beyond across the country.
Celebrating the announcement of his forthcoming album It’s Lovely To Have You Here, due for release Friday 11 October, Kim Churchill is embarking on his biggest Australian tour to date.
Hitting the road in December, Kim will be playing over 50 shows across the country from metro centres to his favourite small town gems. From major music festivals to the far corners of Tasmania and North Queensland, Kim Churchill is bringing his new music and fan favourites to your front doorstep. The tour includes six Victorian dates, where Churchill will play in Bright, Phillip Island, Warrnambool, Melbourne, Mornington and Belgrave.

A true nomadic troubadour, Kim Churchill has locked in a jam-packed schedule of travelling and performing around Australia across 6 incredible months. Kicking things off in December, Churchill will be journeying thoroughly through all six states across the country. He’ll be playing a massive run of regional shows as well as cities including Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Hobart with an additional show in Canberra. It’s all in celebration of his sixth studio album It’s Lovely To Have You Here. The album includes recent releases ‘Reflecting’, ‘Wonder’, ‘Calm The Sea’ and ‘Hobbies’, showcases of Churchill’s folk foundations which has previously earnt him titles of National Youth Folk Artist of the Year and a nomination for the National Live Music Awards Roots Act of the Year.
Churchill shared, “I am so excited to be heading home! I’ve been loving life in my camper vans in both Europe and North America. Touring the world these past few years has been one of the coolest experiences of my life.”
“But I miss home! I miss my shows in the bush surrounded by the sound of Australian birds – so I’ve spent the last 6 months working on the biggest and most beautiful tour of Australia I’ve ever set out on! And no name could be more appropriate than ‘The Lovely Tour’.”
