Keen for a night of espresso martinis and live tunes? The Inn Hotel have you sorted

Who’s been missing hitting up the bar on a Saturday night for some cheeky cockails and live music?

We definitely have, and now as social restrictions have kind of eased – enough to at least let us out of the house – Geelong’s night scene is on the verge of blossoming into a nascent rose.

Since successfully restoring the formerly named ‘Bush Inn’ into a place of pride on Corio Street in the heart of central Geelong a few years ago, The Inn Hotel has become a serious weekend hot spot for great food, great drinks and funky music.

Following their closure back in March due to the coronavirus pandemic, The Inn has turned their lights back on, stocked the kegs, and recharged the beer taps, pumping some life back into our abandoned city once more.

While we’ve loved heading out for lunch and dinner these past couple weeks, we are absolutely stoked with The Inn Hotel bringing some local entertainment to the fore, and teaming it with a proper late-night bar experience.

Kicking off from 9:30pm, locals can kick back and FINALLY indulge in some tunes with disco DJs – Brad Mayes and Togar – spinning wax all night long on both Friday and Saturday night.

A man who needs no introduction in Geelong and the Surf Coast, Brad has earned a name for himself as a DJ with his unique sound and long golden locks. Having shared the stage with some of the industry’s best, such as Harvey Sutherland, Super Flu and Patrick Topping, Brad is no stranger to big crowds, in fact, “the more the merrier” is one of his favourite quotes (when asking for his drink cards).

Producer Togar (aka Tory Garwood) is also another name locals will know and love, having become one of Geelong’s most sort after house music exports. The chances are high you’ve grooved to Togar before, whether it was at a Torquay house party, in the cage at revs or at Beyond The Valley – he’s got you covered.

Alongside the sweet tunes, the hotel are also offering up $45 cocktail packages which are definitely going to go down an absolute treat.

Bookings are advised, especially for larger groups. You can book for your squad here.
