With the colder months comes the many writing events to enlighten your mind, and the Bendigo Writers Festival has kicked things off with its official 2016 program.
This year’s event takes place from August 12-13 at various locations in Bendigo. Following on from a successful 2015, this year sees Julian Assange headline the festival via videolink alongside Robert Mann, as well as appearances from Anne Summers, Mick Thomas, Benjamin Law, Kerry O’Brien and more.
Across the three days attendees can hear from more than 100 writers through interviews, panels and workshops.
