Boasting an epic music lineup.

There’s a new festival coming this winter. In June, Good Times Festival will see the sleepy, historic town of Tocumwal transformed into an old-timey carnival.

Set to perform in old buildings along the town’s main street are Josh Teskey and Ash GrunwaldCash Savage & The Last DrinksBUMPYEmma Donovan & The Putbacks and Benny Walker, among others.

Nestled on the banks of the mighty Murray River, the sleepy, gorgeous town of Tocumwal is well known to many, mostly as the home of Strawberry Fields festival.

Strawberry Fields has forged a lasting reputation over the years, with the festival’s efforts to draw in visitors from all over Australia providing a major boost for the local economy. Their next effort will see Tocumwal transformed into an arts and cultural hub over two nights in June, for the winter solstice.

Alongside the aforementioned acts, Good Times will also see the likes of Surprise ChefSagamoreIzySouthbound Snake Charmers and Anna Scionti perform at locations across the town, including the Tocumwal Memorial Hall and the Terminus Hotel.

Pop up shows will bloom along Deniliquin Street, with artists such as Danika SmithPete DenahyMatt KatsisGeorge KamikawaHeidi MoncrieffShane & Ellie and Mohamed Camara set to appear.

The family-focussed event will recreate an old-time town festival, with live music, workshops, food and the arts in full swing – a certified Good Time.

Good Times has been made possible as a result of the Australian government’s Restart Investment to Sustain and Expand (RISE) Fund initiative. All of the festival’s events will either be free or donation based, with any proceeds going to local community groups.
