When Joe Mungovan was nine years old, he begged his parents for a drum kit for Christmas. Being presumably awesome, his parents decided this noisiest of instruments was just right.
Skip ahead to a thirteen year old Joe, and a skateboarding spill put him in a wheelchair for four months. With drumming proving to be more than a little difficult, he did what one does – taught himself the guitar. These days he is an indie/roots singer songwriter who has shared the stage with names including The Preatures, Ian Moss, Mark Seymour and Glenn Shorrock.
