Thanks to California-born restaurateur Anthony Gist, the iconic Bird Rock in Jan Juc has announced a weekly all-you-can-eat dumpling night. Situated right across from the Bird rock lookout, Bird Rock Jan Juc has long been dedicated to serving the highest quality beverages and flavoursome food, best known now for their delectable dumplings, delicious bao and Sunday Yum Cha.
Appropriately dubbed ‘Death By Dumplings’, the absolute feast will kick off on Thursday, June 30, and take place every Thursday evening. It’s $30 for all-you-can-eat dumplings and a house wine or any Bells Beach beer on tap. Dumplings offered as part of the experience include pork and cabbage or vegetarian, served with your choice of mild or spicy house-made dipping sauce. There’s no doubt that you will be rolling on out once your belly is full.
Alongside the all-you-can-eat deal, Bird Rock will also be offering $5 house wines and Bells Beach beer on tap all night long to help wash down all those dumplings. We recommend you sort your deso driver early, or just start the weekend early and get an Uber.
