There is some pretty exciting news happening in Warrnambool next month, with energetic and charismatic UK folk punk singer-songwriter Jake Martin set to perform a show in town as part of a tour in support of his debut full-length solo release, We Take Them at Dawn.
The follow up to his 2014 EP For F**k’s Sake, Jake, Martin took to Kickstarter to help him raise the funds for the album. Prior to his life as a solo artist, the songman spent eight years fronting popular Brighton-based Ska core outfit The Junk before conflicting ambitions forced him to strike out as a solo artist.
In 2016, life for the folk punkster will be largely spent on the road. The Loft, Warrnambool – June 2.
