It’s time to enter the Altona Beach Film Festival

The Altona Beach Film Festival (ABFF) is a non-profit community run short film competition, open to the world and committed to encouraging creativity and community building in the inner west suburbs of Melbourne.

Returning for its fifth year, this year all films submitted must relate to this year’s theme of ‘Journey’.

Use your imagination, you could have a personal “JOURNEY”, someone you know, a story, an adventure, a life-changing experience, a trip, from here to there, from there to here, fact or fiction, drama, horror, animation, documentary. Use your camera, phone or tablet, make a short film and enter our competition.

All abilities of filmmakers invited. Entries are judged in age-appropriate categories by professional filmmakers. Monetary prizes awarded, certificates and AlPel Trophies

All entries will be shown on the big screen in front of a live audience at our Annual Altona Beach Film Festival Gala Award Presentation and Film Screening Event, August 17th, Altona Theatre 115 Civic Parade Altona.

Entries can be shorter than, but no longer than 7 minutes, including credits and titles.
