It’s the fifth & final announcement for Queenscliff Music Festival 2017

And it’s none other than Australian music icon Russel Morris leading the announcement.

He will be bringing his extensive back catalogue of hits plus his latest Blues Trilogy numbers to the big stage this November, adding to the line up of acts storming the stage on the festival’s Sunday line up.

Also announced is Warrnambool bred, Melbourne based folkster and man of many odd socks Didirri, North-East Arnhem Land’s Yirrmal and 30-piece Geelong based girl band the Sweethearts who will be joining quality acts from Bernard Fanning to Nai Palm, The Temper Trap to Beccy Cole, from international icon Jon Cleary and his Monster Gentlemen to the surprise hit of Bigsound Stella Donnelly.

The last lineup announcement coincides with the news that the festival has now sold out of Saturday tickets. With two day tickets already sold out, less than 200 three day tickets up for grabs, and less than 200 Sunday tickets, Queenscliff Music Festival WILL sell out for a second year in a row, and it’s tipped to happen sooner than expected! Ya-hooo!

The local contingent includes Apollo Bay teen rockers The Refuge, 15-year-old musician Heath Robertson, and his singer-songwriter mother Andrea Robertson, with both The Refuge and Andrea also announced as the lucky dual recipients of the QMF Emerging Artist Grant for 2017. Now in its 7th year, the grant sees each act receive funding to record, produce and promote a new album as well as nab a slot to perform at the festival.
