A national survey has found Melbourne’s Metro Trains ranked the worst in the country – for the fifth year running.
Comparing the rail network to systems in Adelaide, Queensland, Sydney and Perth, Metro came in last – scoring poorly on overall satisfaction, service reliability, its notorious ticketing system and timetabling.
As reported by The Age, surveyed commuters called out rude and smelly passengers, as well as people having loud conversations, invading their personal space and playing music loudly, with sneezing and manspreading also contributing to an overall lackluster experience.
