And while driving around searching is all part of the fun, one Geelong local has been a Christmas light saviour the last few years, comprising a list of the best streets and suburbs to find fabulous light displays in Geelong.
Bryson West, who annually decorates his own house, is the brains behind the popular Facebook group Geelong Christmas Lights Tracker which now has more than 16,000 members.
Described as a great place to share the Christmas spirit and community festive events and most importantly great Christmas Lights around Geelong, the page acts as your very own itinerary to finding streets packed with blinking LED goodness ready for your gawking and has done for the last few years.
And now once again, courtesy of Bryson and his annual dedication to the cause, he has just released the 2020 list via Facebook of the best places, streets, and suburbs to see Christmas lights in Geelong.
