Newtown’s popular local Italian destination Pompei on Pakington – known for combining Italian simplicity with high-quality produce – is hosting its first-ever Aperitivo Afternoon this month.
Taking place on Sunday, August 28 from 2pm to 5pm, the no-frills authentic restaurant is delivering a long and leisurely aperitivo experience to Geelong, providing a brand-new experience the region has not yet seen.
Essentially the Italian version of a bottomless brunch, for $40 the afternoon will see you indulging in bottomless tasting dishes of Italian antipasti, pasta and snacks, with a prosecco or Peroni on arrival. Think olives, Italian meats, cheese, fritto misto, warm bread, olive oil and balsamic, and so much more.
