The guys of Melbourne’s Holy Serpent like to drink and get high and listen to music. That’s why they formed a psychedelic doom outfit. They’ve only been in business since mid-2014 but they have already coughed up their self-titled debut. The band made it to the pages of Metal Hammer, who wrote: “Melbourne stoner crew channel their inner Kyuss with this resinous sludge fest, oozing with thick riffs, iceberg-paced tempos and fuzzy melodic foraging.” The Newmarket, Bendigo – July 4 & The Eastern, Ballarat – July 18.
