Meadow Festival is returning to the Surf Coast in 2022 with a 100% homegrown bill of diverse and genre-expanding acts.

Rounding out the highly-anticipated festival announcements for November, cherished Victorian surf coast festival Meadow has just lifted the lid on its 2022 lineup and are bringing a bunch of beloved Aussie acts to Bambra this March for its 2022 iteration. Emerging again in all its glory to full capacity in the New Year, the forthcoming festival follows the success of 2021’s sell-out event in April with King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Angie McMahon snd Private Function, managing to be one of just one of very few multi-day camping festivals to go ahead this year.

Taking over the lush farmland hamlet of Bambra for three stacked days of live music from March 25-27, 2022, Meadow’s all-Australian eighth instalment will be headlined by Australian future soul group Hiatus Kaiyote, solo bedroom project turned seven-piece live band Methyl Ethel (performing their first Victorian shows in well over six months) and world-conquering rock heavyweights Tropical Fuck Storm who will lead a 100% homegrown bill of diverse and genre-expanding acts covering every inch of the music spectrum.

The key takeaways

  • Hiatus Kaiyote, Methyl Ethel, Tropical Fuck Storm lead the all-Aussie lineup for Meadow 2022.
  • Tickets are on sale now and Meadow will be capped at 1400 tickets.
  • The music, camping and BYO festival returns to the Surf Coast March 25-27, 2022.

Promising to draw some of the festival’s most devoted and attentive crowds yet, this year’s program also features Maple Glider, Fantastic Man, MOD CON, Gabriella Cohen, Youth Group, Clamm, First Beige, Andy Golledge Band, 1300, Moktar, Emma Russack & Lachlan Denton, Izy, Cookii, Middle Name Dance Band, Mess Esque and Teether & Kuya Neil, with plenty more acts still to be announced in the new year.

Meadow will be capped at 1400 tickets, offering a cosy, intimate and community-driven BYO camping festival that will once again be operating as a COVID safe festival for the three days and two nights in March. All attendees are required to be fully vaccinated to attend and every vehicle attending the festival will require a car pass. All proceeds from the car passes will support the replanting of native trees and shrubs across the festival site and surrounding areas thanks to East Otway Landcare with hundreds of baby trees from their 2020 planting efforts set to be maturing by the time punters arrive in Autumn! What’s not to love about that?!
