Here are some of the great wineries on board for Toast to the Coast this weekend

With 20 locations throughout Toast to the Coast, things can get a little confusing. Though luckily, we’ve run down a few of the wineries below (which the full map right at the bottom). Let’s not forget the stress of the event is taken away with your ticket including access to two days of entertainment, access to over 25 wineries, complementary wine tasting and a commemorative Geelong Wine glass. There’s a reason it’s called Geelong’s wine, food and music festival.

Austins & Co.

First up, at this venue there are over 16 wines to taste. Once you’ve comprehended that, factor in add in they’ve been doing it for more than 30 years and you’re onto a winner. Austins is also as much about making great wine as creating a great company to keep around that, though their Pinot Noir, Riesling, Chardonnay and Shiraz make gathering a circle of friends easy.

Saint Regis Winery, Food & Wine Bar

Saint Regis wine bar is relatively new on the wine/bar scene, and offers great snacks, shared meals and desserts to go with their assortment of local wines and beers. There’s even two ‘celebrity winery dogs’ Baz and Monty you may meet as you sample the wines.

Basils Farm

Located in the beautiful shores of Swan Bay in the Bellarine Peninsula, Basils Farm (previously Kiltynane) is a winery/farm seriously passionate about biodynamics. They specialise in Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Shiraz.

Terindah Estate

As far as brilliant views go, Terindah Estate certainly has one. Located in the Bellarine, it neighbours Jack Rabbit winery and adds to the culture of the region. They specialise in Sparkling, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Rose, Zinfandel & Shiraz.

Oakdene Vineyards Restaurant & Cellar Door

It’s been said that when heading to the Bellarine, the Oakdene experience is one not to be missed. With award-winning premium cool climate wines and a highly acclaimed restaurant serving exquisitely prepared food, it certainly ticks all the boxes.
