Halfway to Healthy's Favourite Cafes

Chloe Thornton, of healthy eating and lifestyle site Halfway to Healthy, gave us her favourite five cafes in the Geelong region.
1. The Sprout and the Bean Café – 1/163 Malop St, Geelong, Victoria
These delightful bunch always have delicious fresh organic meals and an array of healthy goodies on offer. It was my go to lunch spot when I was working in Geelong and it never disappointed. The staff are incredibly lovely and it’s located right in the middle of town so it’s the perfect little oasis if you want something healthy to fuel you up mid shopping trip. It’s also right next door to an organic health food shop so if you’re feeling good after your organic feed you can stock up on beautiful produce from next door.
2. Cafe Moby – 41 The Esplanade, Torquay VIC 3228 (pictured above)
Cafe Moby is located across the road from the gorgeous front beach on the Esplanade in Torquay. They have an array of DELICIOUS breakfast options, both savoury and sweet (the coconut and quinoa porridge is amazing), a huge outdoor dining area out the back and the whole place has a really friendly laid back vibe. Perfect for a Saturday morning breakfast, especially if its followed up with a takeaway coffee and stroll along the front beach!

I LOVE everything about KOTC, and anyone who has been there themselves will understand this. It feels like a second home! The coffee is on point, the staff are always chipper and friendly, they have an array of incredible healthy, and not so healthy, sweet treats and they have recently opened a stellar kitchen. If you haven’t been, GO, on your way to work, on your way to uni, for a mid afternoon pick me up, or if you’re lucky enough to get in at the crack of dawn on a Friday morning, go and score yourself a decadent slice of donut heaven. Check out their instagram to see what I am talking about!

This little gem in the middle of town use sustainable, locally sourced ingredients to create their creative seasonally inspired menu. The interior is absolutely beautiful and their attention to detail makes this place really special. Everything is homemade and pure deliciousness.
5. Pakington Pantry – 3/328 Pakington St, Newtown
This place has amazing juice combos, insanely satisfying brunch options and friendly service. Located on the river end of Pako, definitely worth checking out for some midday goodness.
