Gwyn Ashton to Play Bendigo and Geelong

Gwyn Ashton has been playing the blues for more than three decades. Born in Wales, Ashton made the move to Adelaide in the 1960s. After picking up his first guitar at the age of twelve, he was out playing bars and festivals at the age of sixteen.

Never too far away from his beat up National steel guitar and ’63 Strat, the bluesman has opened for names including Van Morrison, Johnny Winter, Status Quo, Canned Heat and Robin Trower. He has been taking his Radiogram album on a tour around the country since the beginning of February.

Golden Vine, Bendigo – March 4 & Pistol Pete’s, Geelong – March 11. Gwyn will also be performing at Geelong’s Motor City Music Festival.
