Groovin the Moo 2023 adds over 90 acts to its festival lineup

Ashwarya

In just under a month, the national Groovin the Moo (GTM) tour will kick off, throwing the gates open at six regions around Australia in April and May.

They might be counting down the days at GTM HQ, but they’re doing some addition too, adding nearly 100 new artists to their Fresh Produce program, each pumped to hit their local GTM stage across the country.

Over the years, a bunch of the Fresh Produce artists have not only gone on to world domination, but have also graduated to the national touring lineup. Artists like Alex Lahey, Haiku Hands, Hockey Dad, Lime Cordiale, Montaigne and more, along with our 2023 touring artists Confidence Man, Genesis Owusu, Ocean Alley and Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers.

Here’s the Fresh Produce lineup in each region, including the recently announced triple j Unearthed winners.

Two huge headliner changes for Groovin The Moo festival

Groovin the Moo locations and dates

GTM will be hugging and high-fiving at Wayville SA on Friday, April 21, (which also happens to be school holidays) before bringing memory making moments to Maitland NSW on Saturday, April 22, then will round out the first weekend in our nation’s capital Canberra ACT on Sunday, April 23.

The following weekend, it’s down to beaut Bendigo VIC on Saturday, April 29, then to a new Queensland location on the Sunshine Coast on Sunday, April 30 (long weekend bonus!). Then, GTM finally return to the west coast for some Bunbury fun on Saturday, May 6.

While the festival won’t be heading to Townsville this year, GTM will continue to hold the festival in Queensland in 2023, this time at Sunshine Coast’s Kawana Sports Western Precinct.

For us, it all goes down in Bendigo on April 29 and tickets are available now. Head here for more info.
