One half of the comedy duo Merrick and Rosso, alongside Tim Ross, Merrick Watts is an Australian comedy leader, rising up in the late 90’s. Leaping up the comedy ladder, Watts has become one not only one of Australia’s comic clowns, but built a career in radio and television presenting. Along the way he has learned a thing or two about culture, becoming a bit of a wine expert of sorts.
Returning to Mt Duneed Estate following a successful showing of comedy dinner and a show An Idiots Guide To Wine, Watts brings Volume 2 to back to the estate.
Taking place on Friday 19th July from 6:30pm at Mt Duneed Estate, Watts offers the ultimate pairing of excellent wine and hilarious comedy. You can expect different grape varietals from some of Australia’s best winemakers (of course, including Mt Duneed’s own specialty), with new stories and jokes to match each wine.
In addition to a 70-minute wine-tasting show (six wine tastings included), audience members for the Grapes of Mirth series will receive a delicious three-course meal prepared by the culinary wizards at Mt Dunned Estate. A tantalising experience all round and for only $149 per person.
