ALWAYS LIVE has done it again, this time bringing art rock auteur St Vincent to Victorian audiences.

One of the most innovative and fascinating presences in modern music, GRAMMY award-winning artist St. Vincent is thrilled to announce her long-awaited return to Australia this November with the All Born Screaming Tour.

Celebrating her seventh album, the All Born Screaming Tour is St Vincent’s first live appearance down under since 2018. It will see St. Vincent (Annie Clark) perform at two of the state’s most exquisite venues, in a tour exclusive to Victoria: St Kilda’s iconic Palais Theatre on Monday 25 November, and Ballarat’s newly refurbished, 149-year-old Her Majesty’s Theatre on Tuesday 26 November.

  • Tuesday 26 November – Her Majesty’s Theatre Ballarat
  • Thursday 28 November – Crown Aviary

In further news, Clark will also appear at ALWAYS LIVE An Intimate Audience with St Vincent, presented by Crown Melbourne and Frontier Touring – a limited and intimate event for up to 250 fans, who’ll enjoy a live Q&A with the singer plus an exclusive performance at Crown Aviary on Thursday 28 November.

The tour follows the release of All Born Screaming, the seventh album from St. Vincent. The triple-GRAMMY-winning iconoclast’s first self-produced record, All Born Screaming is an invitation to test the limits of what is possible – and to then keep going. Featuring singles ‘Broken Man’‘Flea’ and ‘Big Time Nothing’ and brought to life with the aid of a highly curated roster of friends – Rachel Eckroth, Josh Freese, Dave Grohl, Mark Guiliana, Cate Le Bon, Justin Meldal-Johnsen, Stella Mogzawa and David Ralicke – the album is an unadulterated expression of St. Vincent’s singular vision.

The announcement is just one of the massive events happening as part of ALWAYS LIVE, the state-wide celebration of contemporary live music supported by the Victorian Government through Visit Victoria, and Frontier Touring.

Tickets (St Kilda/Ballarat) will go on sale Monday 19 August (10am local time) via frontiertouring.com/stvincent. Fans can get early access via the Frontier Member presale, which starts Friday 16 August (10am local time) – see website for full info. These will be St Vincent’s only Australian performances.
