Aunty Meredith has dropped the 2020 Golden Plains lineup, and it’s a pearler.
Leading the pack are Punk icons Pixies, UK synth-poppers Hot Chip, English-French avant-poppers Stereolab, Australia’s own Sampa The Great and Sleaford Mods, alongside the likes of the Evelyn Champagne King & Mondo Freaks, Bill Callahan, DJ Sprinkles, Weyes Blood, Electric Fields and Parsnip.
Still BYO everywhere, still independent, with no commercial sponsors, free-range camping, all on the one stage, all on the same page. Fourteen will be Golden. There’s only one type of ticket at this fest – everyone flies First Class. You’d be bloody bonkers to miss out.
