Golden Plains Announce Line Up

The 10th birthday celebrations continue for Golden Plains with the line up officially announced for the 2016 festival. Eddy Current Suppression Ring were already announced to perform a special anniversary celebration for GP after not playing for six years. The band were also on the very first line up for festival numero uno, so it’s celebrations all round.
Joining Eddy Current Suppression Ring next year will be; Sleater-Kinney, Seun Kuti & Egypt 80, Violent Femmes, The Black Madonna, The Necks, John Grant, Natalie Prass, Freddie Gibbs, C.W. Stoneking, HTRK, Buzzcocks, Royal Headache, Kenji Takimi, U.S. Girls, Gold Class, Sampa The Great, Black Cab, Tyrannamen, Sadar Bahar, Tom Of England, No Zu, Koi Child, Darcy Baylis, Friendships, Songhoy Blues and Built To Spill.
Next year’s festival also sees the introduction of ‘The Light of Day’ where there will be an extended finishing time on the Sunday which will carry through to dawn, making Monday the day of relaxation and slow cleaning.
GP takes place on March 12-14 at the Sup. The ballot is officially open until Tuesday October 20 via the website.
