Spin Off Festival has become a favourite event for those of us who miss out on heading to Splendour In the Grass.
Spin Off, a one-day music festival made up of acts visiting Australia for Splendour in the Grass, is back for 2022 and is bringing the crème de la crème of Splendour’s lineup to Adelaide Showgrounds this July. While COVID continues to wreak havoc within the industry, organisers are confident the 2022 event will go ahead as planned in July.
British electro-pop sensations Glass Animals will headline the Adelaide Festival, fresh from delivering one of the biggest tracks of 2021 with their hypnotic triple j Hottest 100 #1 hit ‘Heat Waves’. Reaching number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 after a record-breaking 51 weeks the track is currently sitting at over a billion Spotify streams and has also earned Glass Animals a Grammy nomination.

Kings of a good time Beddy Rays and 2020 triple j Unearthed High kweenz Teenage Joans are also along for the ride. It’s going to be one helluva day!
There will also be installations by local artists, markets, a tonne of food trucks and ferris wheel rides.

Spin Off 2022 will take place at Adelaide Showground on Friday, 22nd July. It’s a licensed all-ages event. Tickets go on sale next Monday, January 24 at 9am local time. Pre-sales open on Friday, January 21 at 9am.
