Giant coloured frames have popped up around Ballarat

#hellospring

The days are getting longer, the sun is warming up and the air is fresh – Spring is officially here and Ballarat is welcoming the season with open arms, installing six giant frames throughout the CBD and Lake Wendouree precinct.

Coined the ‘Ballarat Frame Trail’, locals and regional Victorians are encouraged to venture across the city and snap photos of the big, brightly coloured and highly photogenic frames, as well as share them on social media with the hashtag #hellospringballarat.

You’ll find a fink frame in Ballarat Botanical Gardens, an orange frame at Lake Wendouree, a purple frame at 400 block of Sturt Street, a yellow frame: 300 block of Sturt Street, a green frame at Alfred Deakin Place and a blue frame at Bridge Mall.

The frames will be on show until Sunday 25 October.

Social distancing restrictions and mask requirements still apply.
