Running for one night on Saturday, June 5 from 5pm until 8:30pm, this festival of lights has announced they will showcase an array of LED animal sculptures dotted throughout the Geelong Showground, with guests invited to wander through a maze of lights, sprawling projections and glowing installations.

Taking cues from renowned events like White Night, Geelong After Dark and Adventure Park’s magical Christmas Festival of Lights, the event has said they will also feature roving performers, a spectacular light show at the end of the night, and a night market offering street food, market stalls, and a range of kids amusements to keep the little ones engaged.

With light projections to tempt you out into the cold, the event is all about bringing people together to light up the night and ‘get your glow on’. They’ll have everything you need for a sparkly evening, including a glow-in-the-dark tent which will be slinging glow in the dark glasses, headbands and other flashy items to really light up the skies.

Hosted by Glow Up Events, there will be prizes on offer on the night for the best glow-in-the-dark outfits.

Geelong Gets Its Glow On runs from 5pm to 8:30pm on Saturday June 5. Tickets are just $10 for adults, $5 for kids between 5 and 15, and free for kiddies under five. You can book your tix here.

There are also Glow Up events in Ballarat on Friday June 4, and Bendigo on Sunday June 6.
