Right now, the window gallery is home to a diverse range of art that showcases the amazing talent and innovation of Geelong-based creators. From video animation and printmaking to enamel spray can art and mixed media installations, the gallery has something for everyone. Artists are experimenting with everything from marine debris sculptures to stunning oil on linen paintings, creating a true reflection of the city’s creative spirit.
As a UNESCO City of Design, Geelong is all about celebrating local talent, and the Yarra Street Window Gallery is one of the ways the city’s 30-year, community-led vision is being brought to life. This gallery isn’t just for established artists—emerging creatives are invited to apply, too! What’s even better? It’s completely free to exhibit your work, and selected artists will receive a $500 fee for showing their creations. Plus, if you’re part of a collective or a curator, you can apply to showcase your work over consecutive windows, keeping the creativity flowing all year long.
