He is a founding member of Giants of Science, The Gin Club and the two-time ARIA-nominated Wilson Pickers and has written over 200 songs and performed on 30-odd albums, so it’s safe to say Ben Salter has a bit to say. The album saw him decamp to Prior Park, the cattle property in central Queensland, the home of the last three Gin Club recordings. Taking shape over seven days, Salter was joined by fellow ’Clubbers Adrian Stoyles and Gus Agars, as well as Dan Luscombe (Paul Kelly, The Drones). The Eastern, Ballarat – July 11.
