This isn’t your typical take on Macbeth. Overflow Theatre Company is bringing a mix of professional actors and exciting up-and-comers to deliver a production that’s grungy, kooky, and loaded with edge. The story of Macbeth’s rise to power, spurred on by ambition, prophecy, and a lot of bloodshed, will be given a unique twist—expect an experience that’s both intense and a little offbeat.

The Wyrd Sisters—those infamous witches who set the whole tragic tale in motion—will lead the audience down the dark path of fate and ambition. Get ready to watch Macbeth fall deeper into murder and madness, driven by forces beyond his control. The story of power gone wrong is timeless, and Overflow Theatre Company is here to bring it to life in a fresh way that’ll captivate anyone looking for something different.

Don’t miss out on this raw take on the Bard, as Overflow Theatre Company brings Macbeth to the Geelong stage like you’ve never seen before.

Featuring a dynamic cast, this production is packed with local talent you won’t want to miss.

The show is directed by Molly England with movement direction by Venessa Paech, costume design by Charlotte Hunter, and sound design by Morgan May.

Catch Macbeth in May and see the Bard like never before!
