Unlike the winter wonderlands you see in all the Christmas Netflix movies, Christmas in Australia is all about backyard barbeques, seafood banquets and days at the beach. And while the cold-weather spreads are truly something special, sometimes you just want that white Christmas, filled with roast turkey, mulled wine, crackling fires, snuggly christmas jumpers and falling snow. And that’s why we have Christmas in July, a memorable mid-year celebration that’s all about pretending to be the real deal.

Well, it’s time to bust out the ugly sweaters (or buy a new beer-inspired one at LC) and crank up the Mariah Carey, because Geelong’s favourite CBD brewery Little Creatures is bringing Christmas to you with an epic stomach-warming Christmas in July feast this month.
Taking over the brewery on Thursday 28 July, the mid-year celebration will be fuelled by a warm, fun, cheerful night of delicious food and beer pairing.

Attendees will enjoy a special three course paired Christmas meal (with all the trimmings), as well a providing the first tastes of Little Creatures latest Single Batch Release ‘Ancient Traveller – Ethiopian Black Barley Stout’.
To kick off the fun, everyone receives aLittle Creatures, Freo Vice – Raspberry Sour on arrival, while the shared entree will feature the likes of Glazed Smoked Ham, Camembert Cheese, King Prawns, Oysters Natural and Sourdough, paired with a Little Creatures, Pacific Ale.
For the main, indulge in Roast Pork with Crackling, Apple Sauce, Jus, alongside Rosemary Potatoes and Heirloom Baby Carrots, Hazelnuts, paired with Little Creatures, Hazy IPA.
Finish the evening on a high with Chocolate Fondant, served with Vanilla Ice Cream and Double Cream, paired with the new Little Creatures Single Batch, Ancient Traveller – Ethiopian Black Barley Stout’.
And the best part is the price: all this will just set you back $79 per person.
