Something to look forward to.
The Great Australian Beer Festival (GABF) and beer lover’s paradise has announced their plans to return next year and we can’t think of a better way to spend a summer day in the new year, cheering good riddance to 2020 and what can only be described as an absolute shitstorm.
Gifted with a date, Saturday January 16 2021, the anticipated event will mark the GABF’s ninth year showcasing hundreds of different brews with a variety of styles of beer and cider in Geelong.
Regularly attracting a crowd of around 5000 for an afternoon of craft beer tasting and education, brewing demos, top local food and live music, with breweries attending from around the country, we’re not exactly sure what the event might look like, especially with all the uncertainly surrounding events, procedures and the current restrictions.
Regardless, the GABF have given us beer lovers a (small) slice of hope for the future of events.
