The track comes off the back of BARAKA’s single ‘Can’t Go Back (Survivors)’ and artists residency with City of Greater Geelong and Live and Local initiative the GRID Series (Grass Roots Indie Development). Alongside fellow local artists Daisy Kilbourne, LENNi, Ridzyray and Wild Gloriosa, BARAKA underwent mentoring and development with the music industry industries sharpest minds to build their pathways. The program outcome also included a fully produced, mixed and mastered track made in collaboration with one of the programs producers, live performance opportunities in the Geelong region and an artist documentary film.
