For the uninitiated, Jerkfest is a local one-day festival held at the Barwon Club celebrating all things punk, shoegaze and psych and curated by Anti Fade Records founder and event organiser Billy Gardner. Since 2015, Jerkfest has been the host to some of the city’s most festive days, bringing artists like The Rebel (UK), Robyn Hitchcock (UK), Amyl & The Sniffers, The UV Race and much more to Victoria’s second largest city, Djilang.

Jerkfest III: Celebrating all things punk, shoegaze and psych

Now back for 2023, Jerkfest VIII ties together almost five decades of Australian music, compiling classic 70’s/80’s Melbourne acts Essendon Airport and The Vacant Lot, with modern favourites like EXEK, Terry, R.M.F.C., YL Hooi, G2G, Geld + and many, many more.

Tickets are very limited and are on sale now (third release) so you better be quick!

It all goes down at The Barwon Club on Saturday, March 25. You can purchase your tickets here.
