Since its inception, Jerkfest has brought some of the best and most eclectic talent to the stage. From legendary UK acts like Robyn Hitchcock to American underground icons like The Uranium Club, and local sensations such as Amyl and The Sniffers and Essendon Airport, the festival has always been a diverse showcase of alternative music at its finest.

But the party didn’t stop there. As Jerkfest enters its 11th year, 2025 promises to be its largest and most exciting edition yet. Aptly titled Jerkfest #10, this milestone event will feature a staggering 25 acts, making it the most ambitious lineup the festival has ever seen. This marks a significant occasion for Jerkfest, especially after the 2020 edition was lost to the global pandemic. Now, in 2025, Djilang is ready to celebrate in style.

Jerkfest #10 will take place this Saturday and fans can expect an unforgettable experience. The lineup features some of the most exciting and innovative acts from both local and international stages. From the experimental punk sounds of The UV Race to the raw energy of The Frowning Clouds, this year’s festival will have something for every alternative music fan.

One of the key highlights will be the electrifying performance of Guitar Wolf from Japan, known for their wild, high-octane rock ‘n’ roll that has garnered a loyal international following. For fans of Australian talent, Primo! and Bananagun will bring their unique sounds to the stage, while Optic Nerve and Itchy & The Nits from New South Wales are sure to bring their high-energy performances to the forefront.

In addition to these powerhouse bands, Jerkfest #10 will feature an eclectic mix of performers, such as Marbled Eye from the USA, Lost Animal, Possible Humans, and the legendary David Chesworth & Bill McDonald, who will perform their collaborative piece “Drive Time.”

Other notable acts include Station Model Violence, The States, Way Dynamic, and Season 2, plus a set by the ever-vibrant DJ Bruce Milne to keep the dancefloor buzzing long into the night.

This year’s lineup is a testament to the enduring appeal of Jerkfest, which continues to attract boundary-pushing artists from around the world. Anti Fade Records has managed to create a space where alternative music thrives and connects with fans in a way that is rare and unique.

For those looking for an unforgettable day of music in Djilang, Jerkfest #10 promises to deliver. The festival will take place across multiple stages, ensuring there’s never a dull moment. Whether you’re a diehard fan of alternative rock, punk, or experimental sounds, Jerkfest continues to offer the best of the underground music scene.

Get ready to be a part of the legacy—Jerkfest #10 is coming, and it’s set to be the biggest celebration of alternative music in Djilang yet.
