Appearing at Max Watt's in the city, Young Henrys and Anti Fade Records have teamed up to put on a show of some of Melbourne's best emerging homegrown acts - all for free.

Taking place on Friday June 17, Young Henrys and Anti Fade are putting on a killer show of prolific Australian acts.

And what a line-up it is; with self-described as “idiot savant punk rock” UV Race headlining the evening at Max Watt’s with their unabashedly Australian off-kilter garage punk sound.

Joining UV Race on the dancefloor is four-piece garage rock ensemble Parsnip, garage-punk outfit R.M.F.C. and synth-punk supergroup Hierophants. With Sydney-based brewers and distillers Young Henrys and label Anti Fade Records shouting the ticket for the night, there’s no reason to miss this awesome lineup of bands.

The key takeaways

  • Young Henrys and Anti Fade Records are putting on a free gig as part of their iconic Best Served Loud series
  • The line-up includes UV Race, Hierophants, R.M.F.C., Parsnip and Green Child DJs
  • It takes place on Friday June 17 and entry is free!

Finishing off the evening, Best Served Loud have bought on Green Child DJs – Mikey Young and Raven Mahon – who will be expertly spinning punk and rock and roll on vintage equipment.

Rescheduled from 2021, Best Served Loud is a series of free gigs taking place at Max Watt’s. Hidden underground on Swanston St, Max Watt’s is a premier destination for live music and comedy – with a state-of-the-art sound system, large stage, mezzanine and two bars.

With the team up of Young Henrys and Anti Fade Records bringing life into Melbourne’s music scene through community, live entertainment and good beer, Best Served Loud has a not-to-be-missed reputation for a reason. It’s shaping up to be an unmissable show – they’ve truly handpicked some of Melbourne’s best local and home-grown talent for a stellar show at Max Watt’s in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD.

Entry to Best Served Loud is free but you need to register, do so by heading here.
