Geelong Young Professionals will welcome award-winning CEO, Colleen Callander as keynote speaker at their upcoming networking event this May, inspiring emerging professionals across their leadership journeys.

Breakfast plans have never sounded better than with the award-winning CEO and local born and raised businesswoman, Colleen Callander. Callander will be the keynote speaker at the upcoming Geelong Young Professionals networking breakfast on Thursday 23 May from 6.30am.

Callander will offer the young business leaders of Geelong a wealth of knowledge as the former CEO of Sportsgirl, Founder of Mentor Me Women, trusted Business Advisor, and a two-time author, with her debut book, Leader By Design and her newly released book ELEVATE – Unlock Your Extraordinary Potential – the latter a collaboration with executive life coach Shannah Kennedy.

Callander’s career is a story of legacy, inspiration and empowerment for all generations of women in both business and life, with her appearance at Geelong Young Professionals set to continue the stroke. She will be speaking to her proven track-record of building brands and establishing winning cultures, addressing areas of leadership and culture, the principles of leadership and building confidence.

“The Geelong Young Professionals community are our next generation. I am passionate about leadership and inspiring up and coming leaders in the Geelong community. My keynote demonstrates the importance of leadership, kindness and the awareness of self when it comes to running a successful business and healthy workplace. We need to change the narrative about what a leader is and identify that society is moving into a new era of leadership. Compassion, humility and putting people at the forefront of what we do is what makes a business a successful one,” Callander says of her upcoming appearance.

Callander is a welcome addition to the lineup of guest speakers Geelong Young Professionals have had over the years continuing their mission to inspire the future of Geelong business and connect emerging professionals – from those new in their careers to the young at heart – through a series of fresh and engaging networking events, providing opportunity to build networks and strengthen relationships.
