Geelong Gallery Announces 2016 Contemporary Art Prize Judges

The Geelong Art Gallery has announced the judges for the 2016 Art Prize. The gallery’s director, Jason Smith, and curator, Lisa Sullivan, will be joined by Victoria Lynn.

Lynn is the director of TarraWarra museum of art, she is the author of three novels and over 70 articles as well as being an independent curator for eight years. The Geelong Contemporary Art Prize showcases the best in modern art. The $30,000 prize is donated by the Dimmick Charitable Trust with the aim of showcasing the region’s best modern art and enriching the Gallery’s collection of contemporary Australian art.
