“At the Geelong Beer Festival, we push the envelope to craft unforgettable moments,” said Kieran Blood, Festival Director. “Our festivals cater to all interests and walks of life. It’s not just about beer; it’s about creating connections, discovering new flavours and sharing in a collective experience. The Geelong Beer Festival serves as a vital hub for artisan producers, musicians, entertainers and artists.”

“We’ve just launched our first release tickets, and they are nearly sold out, reflecting the high demand for the Geelong Beer Festival,” Mr Blood added. “This is a challenging time for our industry, and without the support of our community, we wouldn’t be here. We’re grateful for the ongoing support of our community and our industry. Our goal is to continue to deliver a festival that truly caters to everyone.”

The festival is expected to attract over 5,000 people from across Victoria and interstate, many of whom will stay for one to two nights, providing a significant economic boost to the local hospitality and retail industries. With its central location at Johnstone Park, just a short walk from Geelong Station, the festival also supports local CBD businesses before and after the event.

“Now more than ever, it’s vital to support local businesses,” emphasised Mr Blood. “We are proud to showcase our local producers and venues from the Geelong, Bellarine, Surf Coast and Otway regions. Festivalgoers can expect the best of everything at the Geelong Beer Festival.”

Visitors and locals are encouraged to mark January 18 on their calendars. Join us for a day that promises the finest craft brews, mouth-watering tastes and lively entertainment. Let’s toast to a memorable summer day at Geelong!
