Great beer and even better company is back on the cards for Geelong Beer Festival as it returns for 2025.
Raise those glasses high folks – Geelong Beer Festival, formerly known as GABF, returns for another triumphant year. Welcoming in the new year, on Saturday 18 January, the annual festival of food, entertainment, fun, and, of course, beer is back in a big way for 2025 with some frothingly good music headliners leading the charge.
The return announcement is amplified by same massive name drops supplying the live stage entertainment, including ‘Suddenly’, ‘I Said I’m Sorry’ and ‘I Can Make You Love Me’ Australian rockers, British India, ‘Colours’ master Felipe Baldomir and the ‘Blue Eyes’ of acoustic wizard Jordy Maxwell.

In true Geelong Beer Festival form, the day is full of things to see, do and consume. Aside from The Main Stage rocking away, Geelong Beer Festival boasts live cooking demonstrations, masterclasses, tastings, roving performers and family-friendly activities and so much more. 2025 also see the return of the favourite The Sound Lounge, which in previous years has seen interactive performances, dance-offs and massive sing-alongs.
Let’s be honest, all of the above is an added bonus for the brew enthusiasts, or those simply wanting to spend the day in the sun with endless cold beers at hand. Confirmed beers for the festival come from Blackman’s Brewery, Bright Brewery, Coconspirators Brewing Co, Cockies Barrabool Hills Brewery, Coopers, Farm Dog Brew, Flowstate Brewers & Distillers, Great Ocean Road Brewing, Kaiju! Beer, Killer Spocket Brewery, Little Creatures Brewing, Mog Brew, Mountain Culture Beer Co, Mountain Goat Beer, Mount Pleasant Road, The Thirsty Devil Brewery, Urban Alley Brewery, and White Rabbit.
On the cider, wine, distilleries and cocktail list, Geelong Beer Festival are bringing out Coast Hard Seltzer, Daylesford Cider, Farm Dog Brew, Flowstate Gin, Franks, Golden Axe, Pipsqueak, and Spreyton Cider with more to come!
For the foodies, feast on selections from food trucks and stalls including Amazing Calamari, Archive Wine Bar (who will have cheese platters to partner with wine tastings), Chubby Bao, Happy Mexican, Lil Dumpling Van, Pizza Party Hire, and Workers Barbeque.
