Garrett Kato to Play Workers Club

Let me tell you a little about indie-folk singersong writer Garrett Kato. Born in British Columbia, Canada, Kato relocated to Byron Bay at the age of 23 and began to perform at any venue that said ‘yes’.

A couple of years later he released the EP Love. Murder. Songs, and grew his name through performances at Bluesfest and Splendour in the Grass. Much of 2014 was dedicated to a full-length release, which the songman delivered in The Low and Lonesome Sound.

The album was recorded between his home studio and Byron Bay’s 301 Studios. One of the album’s tracks is ‘Trouble will Find Me’, which also serves as the name of his forthcoming tour.

Workers Club, Geelong – March 24.
